A brown bag lunch and round table discussion on putting food by was held at the Highland County Library on July 17.
The 10 people attending shared their experiences with canning, freezing, and drying produce harvested from their gardens. Several people brought handouts and offered information about websites and other programs coming up soon in the community.
Everyone enjoyed the informal setting, the opportunity to learn new tricks, and hear some great stories.
