A portion of Route 754 in Rockingham County closing next week: Bridge replacement

road-work-headerVirginia Department of Transportation will close a portion of Route 754 (Rocky Bar Road) beginning at 8 a.m. on June 6 through June 24 for a bridge replacement over Twomile Run in Rockingham County.  The bridge is located just south of Route 649 (Berrytown Road).

Detour will be as follows:

  • Traffic from the north will follow Route 649 (Berrytown Road) west, then turn south on Route 340 (East Side Highway) to Route 754 Rocky Bar Road and end of detour.
  • Traffic from the south will follow Route 340 north to Route 649, then turn east to Route 754 and end of detour.

All work is weather permitting.
