Poll: Hillary Clinton with strong lead among Iowa Democrats

hillary3Public Policy Polling has former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton comfortably atop the Democratic Party presidential field in Iowa.

A PPP poll of Iowa voters released Tuesday has Clinton at 43 percent, with Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders a distant second at 22 percent. Vice President Joe Biden, still not a formal candidate, was third at 17 percent.

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and former Virginia U.S. Sen. Jim Webb are further back at 3 percent each.
