The University of Virginia Center for Politics believes in its founder Larry Sabato’s famous dictum “Politics Is a Good Thing.”

This weekend, the Center for Politics will be celebrating “Ten Years of Good Politics.”

Guest speakers at the two-day Virginia Political History Project will include Fifth District Congressman Virgil Goode, former state delegate Paul Harris, Jefferson and Hemings descendants Martha Randolph Carr and Shannon Lanier, and of course Professor Sabato.

The event will be held at Montesano, 465 Crestwood Drive, Charlottesville.

The event is free and open to the public, but advance registration is required.
