Police: Check into Cash burglarized

Chris Graham

policecar3The Waynesboro Police Department is investigating a commercial burglary that occurred in the city overnight. Employees arrived at work this morning to open Check into Cash located at 113 Lew Dewitt Boulevard and discovered the business was burglarized.

It appears access was gained to the business by going through an adjacent vacant suite next to it. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken. This incident appears to be unrelated to a previous commercial burglary reported at Virginia Panel earlier this week.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Waynesboro Police Department at (540) 942-6675 or Central Shenandoah Crime Stoppers at 1(800)322-2017.  Information given to Crime Stoppers may be given anonymously.

Callers with information that lead to an arrest in this case are eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
