XtremeFest ’08 was a popular destination on Saturday.

Hundreds of residents from Waynesboro and across the Shenandoah Valley and Central Virginia took part in events at Ridgeview Park ranging from kayaking the South River to rock climbing to extreme biking and skateboarding to a rollicking pull-up competition and more.

XtremeFest ’08 was sponsored by the Waynesboro Department of Parks and Recreation.

This year’s event was part of the Wild Weekend in Waynesboro.
