PaneraBread-Primary-logo-HRPanera Bread is opening a new location on Red Top Orchard Road off Lew Dewitt Boulevard in Waynesboro on Wednesday, Aug. 21.

The café will feature a variety of artisan and other specialty breads, bagels, pastries, baked goods and hot and cold espresso beverages and will be open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Café hours are Monday-Saturday 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In advance of its grand opening next week, Panera is teaming up with the Wildlife Center of Virginia to collect donations for the Waynesboro-based nonprofit.

“We are excited about our continued growth with a drive-through bakery café into Waynesboro. We are so happy to be a part of the Waynesboro community, and team up with the Wildlife Center of Virginia,” said Adam Jackson, COO of Blue Ridge Bread, the franchisee that brought Panera to the western part of Virginia.
