Miguel Gonzalez pitched into the eighth inning, and a five-run Baltimore second made his job easier in a 6-1 O’s victory Wednesday at Camden Yards.
Gonzalez (4-2) gave up a run on three hits in seven and two-thirds innings, striking out five and walking three.
A Caleb Joseph two-run double keyed the five-run outburst in the bottom of the second. Manny Machado, Alejandro De Aza and Jimmy Paredes also had run-scoring hits off Toronto starter Aaron Sanchez (3-3) in the inning.
Sanchez gave up five runs on seven hits in four and two-thirds innings of work, striking out one and walking four.
