Jack Roy will host the Wayne Theatre Alliance’s Open-Mic Night on Thursday, Dec. 22nd, at the Gateway Theatre.

Open Mic Nights feature seasoned and novice performers who want the opportunity to preview their talents for a local audience. Shows are at 7 p.m. at WTA’s Gateway in Downtown Waynesboro.  Admission is pay-what-you-will.

Jack Roy is the lead/rhythm guitarist with the four-piece blues band Mississippi Conjure. For a number of years he was the lead guitarist with The Biscuit Rollers and the guitarist for Lorie Strother the Dreaded Blues Lady, for whom he is substituting as the host of WTA’s Dec. 22nd Open Mic Night.  On the program are a range of performers from blues to country to jazz.
