Obama stars in new Deeds radio ad

State Sen. Creigh Deeds, the Democratic Party nominee for governor, released a new radio ad on Monday featuring President Barack Obama. In the ad, “Fired Up,” President Obama praises State Sen. Deeds as a candidate who will embrace change and provide real leadership.

“This is a man who spent his life working to do right by his family, and the last two decades working to do right by the people of Virginia,” President Obama says in the ad. “As a state senator, he has worked tirelessly to advance this commonwealth. He wrote Megan’s Law, advocated for the Amber Alert program to protect our children.”

The ad will air on stations in the Richmond, Roanoke and Hampton Roads media markets.

THE PRESIDENT: Hello, Virginia! (Applause.) Are you fired up? (Applause.) Are you ready to go? (Applause)

Male VO: Are you ready for change? Ready for real leadership?
