The Stony Point Fire Department responded to a train fire on the railroad tracks near Proffit Road and Judge Lane Friday at 9:17 p.m.
The responding unit arrived to find an engine fire on a locomotive and was able to extinguish the fire quickly.
There were no reported injuries.
