The talk heading into the Royal Rumble pay-per-view is that creative is ready to go in a new direction with the winner in the main event.
Bray Wyatt was reportedly set to win the Royal Rumble match this month and use his title shot to challenge John Cena for the World Heavyweight Title. But with Cena having dropped the World Title in the Dec. 15 unification match with WWE champ Randy Orton, the speculation is now that Dave Batista will win the Rumble and challenge Orton for the Unified WWE Title at WrestleMania 30.
It doesn’t appear now that Cena and Wyatt will launch a feud to feed into WM30.
