New exhibitions set to open Friday at Staunton Augusta Art Center

staunton augusta art centerThe Staunton Augusta Art Center announces the opening of two new exhibitions on Friday, April 10, 5-7pm in the RR Smith Center for History and Art at 20 S. New Street in historic downtown Staunton.  There is no admission charge; art works will be available for sale.  Everyone is welcome.

The two exhibitions feature works by the Best in Show winners at Staunton Augusta Art Center’s 2014 Art in the Park at Gypsy Hill.  Brian Raynor won Best in Show 3-D for his wood furniture and sculptures.  Ashley Miller won Best in Show 2-D for her paintings.

Images of works by each artist are attached as well as artist statements from each.
