New Dominion Bookshop hosts meet & greet with bestselling author Ann Patchett

New Dominion BookshopNew Dominion Bookshop will host a Meet & Greet with New York Times bestselling author Ann Patchett on Tuesday, March 3, from 4-5:30 p.m.

Patchett will be signing copies of her latest novel, The Dutch House, as well as books from her backlist.

This event will be open to the public.

Patchett is the author of seven previous novels, The Patron Saint of LiarsTaftThe Magician’s AssistantBel CantoRunState of Wonder, and Commonwealth. She was the editor of The Best American Short Stories 2006 and has written three books of nonfiction, Truth & BeautyWhat now?, and, most recently, This is the Story of a Happy Marriage.

She has won numerous prizes, including the PEN/Faulkner Award and the Orange Prize for Fiction, and her work has been translated into more than thirty languages. She was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine. Patchett is the co-owner of Parnassus Books in Nashville, Tennessee, where she lives with her husband, Karl VanDevender, and their dog, Sparky.
