NCAA Charlottesville Baseball Super Regional sold out

uva logoThe NCAA Charlottesville Super Regional baseball tournament is sold out. Virginia will meet Mississippi State in a best-of-three series, which will run June 8-10 at UVa’s 4,956-seat Davenport Field. The teams will play at 1 p.m. Saturday (June 8), 7 p.m. Sunday (June 9) and 4 p.m. Monday (June 10), if necessary.

This is the third straight time Virginia has sold out a super regional in advance of the tournament’s first day.

All parking will be paid parking for the entire postseason. Pre-paid parking permits will be valid in the University Hall parking lots. Pre-paid parking permits are sold out.

Parking on game day will be $5 in the John Paul Jones Arena and McCue Center lots.

Parking will be free throughout the tournament in the Emmet/Ivy Garage.

All three games will be televised on the ESPN family of networks. The Saturday game will air on ESPN2, while theSunday game will be broadcast on ESPNU. The Monday game would also air on ESPN2. WINA 1070-AM will carry the local radio broadcast for all games of the super regional, while select stations across the Virginia Sports Radio Network also will pick up the broadcasts.

Game 2 – Virginia vs. Mississippi State, 7 p.m. (ESPNU)

Game 3 – Virginia vs. Mississippi State, 4 p.m. (ESPN2)
