Nats lose, maintain lead on Dodgers for home-field

washington nationalsWashington lost to Miami on Friday night, 7-4, but maintained a two-game lead on Los Angeles for home-field advantage in the NLDS with a Dodgers loss.

The Nationals (93-67) used eight pitchers against the Marlins. Starter Adam Cole went three innings, giving up four early runs, two earned, on six hits, basically eating up innings.

Trea Turner (.339 BA/.920 OPS) was 2-for-3 at the plate. Anthony Rendon (.272 BA/.803 OPS) hit his 20th homer, and Stephen Drew (.271 BA/.874 OPS) hit his eighth.
