Music scholarship competition for high-school seniors

High school seniors who live in Staunton, Waynesboro, or Augusta County who intend to continue their musical activities in class, lessons, or ensemble in college can compete for a scholarship of at least $1000 sponsored by the Thursday Morning Music Club of Staunton.

The application deadline is Friday, April 27, 2012. Please contact Safiya Jarvis (540-255-5709) or Sherry von Oeyen (540-886-2952) for more information and an application.

This year’s competition is on Thursday morning, May 10 at Staunton Church of the Brethren,1615 N. Coalter St.
