More COVID-19 positives at Middle River Regional Jail

The latest round of COVID-19 testing at Middle River Regional Jail revealed 60 new positives among the inmate population, per a news release from the jail Wednesday.

The new positives push the total since Nov. 25 to 464.

The inmate census as of today’s release is 796, for perspective on what the numbers mean.

There was also one new COVID-19 positive among staff this week, bringing the total of staff testing positive since Nov. 13 to 71.
