Missing persons alert: Albemarle County teen reported missing

Update: Friday, 9:43 a.m. Creighton Doherty was safely located overnight, according to a report from the Albemarle County Police Department.

First report: Thursday, 8:29 p.m. The Albemarle County Police Department is currently seeking the whereabouts of 16-year-old Creighton Doherty.

Doherty was last seen wearing a green shirt, black shorts, and blue crocs with white socks in the parking lot of Monticello High School at 11:06 a.m. on Thursday.
