Missing person: Virginia State Police issue Senior Alert for 82-year-old

George Lemay The Virginia State Police has issued a Senior Alert for an 82-year-old man.

George Donald Lemay was last reported seen on July 17 at 1 a.m. at milepost 178 on Interstate 81 in his truck in Rockbridge County. He may drive a tan 1998 Ford F-150 pickup with Vermont temporary registration/plate: W00840J. There should also be a cat and dog in the vehicle.

Lemay is possibly wearing blue jeans, steel-toe boots, a blue/red flannel sweatshirt, and a greenish-brown sweatshirt underneath.

Lemay suffers from a cognitive impairment and the disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.

Anyone with any information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Virginia State Police – Salem Division 6 at 540-444-7798.
