Middle River Regional Jail Authority fires superintendent

Chris Graham

newspaperThe Middle River Regional Jail Authority Board has voted to dismiss Jack Lee as superintendent of the jail, effective immediately.

Lee had served as superintendent since 2004.

According to a press release, the action was taken to address concerns of the jail’s board of directors regarding the administration of the facility and was unrelated to any past or pending litigation involving the regional jail or any of its employees.

In the coming weeks, the board will begin its search for a new superintendent.
