Chris Graham

uva soccerThe UVA men’s soccer program enters the 2018 season ranked No. 15 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll after a 12-win campaign a season ago. The Cavaliers came in at No. 19 in the final 2017 poll.

The Cavaliers are among seven ACC teams ranked in the top-25, the most of any conference. Virginia will open its season against No. 19 New Hampshire on Friday, Aug. 24 at Klöckner Stadium. A total of nine Cavalier opponents enter the year ranked in the top-25 or receiving votes.

From the 2017 squad, Virginia returns 19 letterwinners including Second Team All-ACC selection, Sergi Nus and ACC All-Freshman honoree, Joe Bell.

Virginia will host two exhibition matches at Klöckner Stadium on August 14 against VCU and on Aug. 18 against Georgetown. Admission to both matches is free to the public and game times are scheduled for 7 p.m.
