The Augusta County and Staunton Democratic Committees will hold an event open to all interested voters in Virginia’s 24th and 25th House Districts and surrounding areas.
“Meet the Dynamic Duo Who’ll Represent YOU” will feature Democratic candidates Ellen Arthur and Angela Lynn, explaining their platforms and taking questions from voters.
Arthur, a retired attorney from Lexington, is running against Del. Ben Cline in the 24th District. Lynn, a former official with the Federal Emergency Management Administration, is running against Del. R. Steven Landes in the 25th District.
Both districts include portions of Augusta County.
The event will be held Sunday, Sept. 13, at 4 p.m. in the White Star Mill room above Mill Street Grill in Downtown Staunton.
