massanutten resortMassanutten Resort will host an onsite job fair. The event will take place at the Blue Ridge Buffet located at the Indoor WaterPark on April 21 from 4pm-8pm.

Massanutten is looking to fill seasonal positions, as well as year-round, part-time, and full-time openings.

Massanutten Resort is one of Rockingham County’s top employers, employing over 1,500 people. As Massanutten heads into its busy summer season, the resort has a variety of employment opportunities available. Departments seeking qualified candidates include building and waterpark maintenance, food & beverage, domestic services, aquatics, front desk, spa services, recreation, waterpark, and others.

Recently, Massanutten announced that it has become a 100% employee owned company with a robust ESOP program in place. The ESOP program provides a company sponsored retirement benefit to vested employees. Employees who work enough hours can become partially vested after only 2 years of service.

Massanutten’ s Director of Human Resources, Allison Thompson notes, “We are laser-focused on our ability to recruit and retain great employees. We have made tremendous strides, and we work every day to create an atmosphere of personal and professional growth for all of our employees.”

Massanutten Resort has participated in many community organized job fairs in the past, but they are now seeking to hold their own event to expand recruitment efforts and attract potential applicants. With part-time and seasonal openings, Massanutten provides a great resource for people seeking a second job or supplemental income.  Educators with the summer off and parents with a little extra time are strong candidates for this seasonal opportunity.   Thompson continues, “This is the perfect time for those looking for employment or for a new opportunity to come and meet with us on a personal level. We want to talk with the candidates, share information, and learn more about the community in the process.”

Massanutten is planning to attract a large number of applicants to this inaugural event. In addition to offering access to hiring managers and the opportunity for one-on-one interviews, the resort will also provide snacks and giveaways, including a three day, two night vacation package.
