Joe Ross (3-5, 3.86 ERA) took the loss, allowing four runs on six hits in four-plus innings, striking out six and walking one.
Bumgarner (14-6, 2.98 ERA) has won six of his last seven starts, and has a 2.16 ERA in that stretch.
