Let’s try this again: JMU baseball adds Wednesday game

The James Madison baseball team has cancelled its matchup against VMI, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 3 p.m., due to ice on the field following this week’s winter weather and added a contest against Longwood on Wednesday, Feb. 25. That game is also scheduled to begin at 3 p.m.

The Dukes were originally scheduled to open their home schedule against the Lancers last Tuesday, Feb. 17, but have lost all of the past week to winter storms in the Harrisonburg area. JMU leads the all-time series against Longwood, 15-10, but the teams have split the last 10 games with five wins going to each side.
