Latest on Daniel Bryan: WWE star out indefinitely?

Chris Graham

daniel bryanA report in the Wrestling Observer suggests that former WWE champion Daniel Bryan is out indefinitely with news that he will need to undergo additional surgery.

Bryan, who won the WWE title at WrestleMania 30, culminating a long run that was seen as the start for Bryan as a long-term face of the company, had surgery to repair a neck injury in May. The line of thought after that surgery was that he might be able to return as soon as the Money in the Bank pay-per-view in June.

Those plans were scrapped, and Bryan was stripped of the title before MITB, but there was still thought that Bryan might be back in time for SummerSlam or shortly thereafter.

Now it’s becoming clear that Bryan won’t be around for some time. The Wrestling Observer report has it that WWE is not including Bryan in any of its current plans.
