Lane closures on Interstate 64 in Augusta County Sept. 6-10

interstate 64Lane and shoulder closures are scheduled for next week in the Fishersville area of Augusta County on Route 285, Route 640 and the ramps at Interstate 64 exit 91.

These traffic restrictions are for pavement patching, drainage work and silt fencing removal.

  • Tuesday to Saturday, September 6-10, the right shoulders of the on- and off-ramps between I-64 and Route 285 (Tinkling Springs Road) will have mobile closures from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Wednesday to Friday, September 7-9, northbound Route 285 will have alternating lane closures at the I-64 bridge from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Also, the eastbound I-64 off-ramp to Route 285 will have left-turn lane restrictions from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Wednesday to Saturday, September 7-10, westbound Route 640 (Goose Creek Road) just east of Route 285 will have a shoulder closure from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

All work is weather permitting.
