King William County: One person ejected, dies at scene of head-on crash

One person is dead after a fatal crash on Tuesday morning in the 1300 block of King William Road in King William County.

Jerean Rogers, 26, was partially ejected in the accident and died at the scene.

According to Virginia State Police, the crash occurred at 6:29 a.m.

A Honda Civic, driven by Rogers, was travelling northbound on Route 30 when the vehicle crossed the center line and struck a Hyunda Tucson head on.

The driver of the Tucson suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to an area hospital.

The crash remains under investigation.
