Well, bless her heart, Karoline Leavitt is leaving her job as White House press secretary, ostensibly so she can spend more time with her growing family, but there’s a grift coming, you can rest assured.
The former D2 softball outfielder with a .201 career batting average – she played two seasons before quitting the team at Saint Anselm College, which is, by all accounts, an actual college, not something just made up to boost a kid’s resume, officially to focus on her studies, unofficially because of that .201 career batting average – didn’t even last two seasons in the White House, as it turns out.
Her bid for a congressional seat in New Hampshire in 2022, also a failure – she lost to Democrat Chris Pappas by eight points.
Where she didn’t fail: marriage.
Leavitt, 28, married Nicholas Riccio, 60, a real-estate developer, last year.
Actually, bad news there – Riccio isn’t that much of a sugar daddy, for a guy billed as a real-estate developer.
His net worth is an estimated – and paltry – $6 million.
Six million for a geezer with two young kids and retirement to pay for in a couple of years is nothing.
This guy still gets up to go to work every day, and answers his phone on nights and weekends.
That’s why we can bet that Leavitt is looking to cash in on her year and a half as press secretary ASAP.
They’ve got two kids’ mouths to feed, and before they get to high school, the assisted living facility for the paterfamilias.
In the meantime, Donald Trump is going to need to find a replacement for the twentysomething blonde failed college athlete that he had as his press secretary.
