Sixth District Democratic congressional nominee Kai Degner will host the second summit in his campaign’s “Founding Principles” series on Saturday from 9:30-12:30pm, at the Baymont Inn & Suites in Salem.
The event is free and lunch is provided.
As with the other four summits in the series, attendees will be able to participate in discussions on a range of issues related to the summit’s theme. This is the first of two back-to-back summits in the Roanoke/Salem area.
“These summits are designed for citizens to come together and work on creating a more perfect union, as our Constitution asks of us,” sidDegner. “I have a 15-year record of hosting citizen assemblies on vital topics, including during my eight years on Harrisonburg city council. People are ready to move beyond partisan talking points and start rolling up our sleeves to address our economic, healthcare, and retirement challenges.”
Issues of focus include those on the Kai Degner “Vision for Action for Pursuing Happiness and the American Dream,” available on Degner’s website.
