JMU women’s basketball Selection Show Watch Party

jmu logoFind out where the James Madison women’s basketball team is headed for the NCAA Tournament tonight with the 2015 Colonial Athletic Association Champions at the Selection Show Watch Party held at the JMU Convocation Center.

The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the selection show airs at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Light refreshments will be available.

MadiZONE HD SportsNet, presented by the JMU Alumni Association, will be onsite beginning at 6:25 p.m. for live-event coverage, including interviews with players and coaches. The live video feed will go dark once the selection show begins.

The Dukes earned their second consecutive championship title and eighth in program history on Sunday with a 62-56 victory over Hofstra. Now at 29-3 overall, JMU has tied a school record for 29 program wins after setting a regular-season record with 26 victories.

Last year, JMU earned its first NCAA tournament victory since 1991 with a 72-63 win over sixth-seeded Gonzaga. This week’s appearance will be the Dukes 11th in program history and fifth under Head Coach Kenny Brooks.
