jmu logoIn anticipation of winter weather in the later parts of this week, the James Madison baseball team has shuffled the schedule for its four-game series against Canisius, scheduled for this weekend at Eagle Field at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

The two squads were scheduled to meet in a four-game series from FridaySunday, but will now aim to play a set spanning SaturdayMonday. The weekend will open with the previously scheduled doubleheader at 12 p.m. on Saturday, as well as the 1 p.m. bout on Sunday, but the teams have now moved Friday’s matchup to 1 p.m. on Monday afternoon.

After losing this afternoon’s contest with UMBC to weather, Saturday will kick off five consecutive days of action for the Dukes, as they host Valparaiso on Tuesday and travel to VMI on Wednesday. JMU will also play nine games in nine days, as they travel to Richmond, Va. to play in the PK5 Classic next weekend.
