Jay Snyder joins Augusta Health Primary Care in Stuarts Draft

snyder_johnJohn Atlee ‘Jay’ Snyder, D.O., a board-certified Internal Medicine physician, has joined the Augusta Health Primary Care office in Stuarts Draft.  The practice is located at 2927 Stuarts Draft Highway, Suite 101.  The office phone number is 540.221.7870.

Dr. Snyder will see patients who are 18 years of age and older, with a focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, geriatrics and sports medicine.  He has a professional interest in diabetes and diabetic care.

After graduating from the Bridgewater College, Dr. Snyder received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Edward Via Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg. He completed his internal medicine East Tennessee State University.  While in training, he was Chief Resident.  Dr. Snyder is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Snyder was raised in Stuarts Draft, and has held various staff positions at both East Tennessee State and the Cleveland Clinic.  He enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Dr. Amanda Guedes de Morais, and their family.
