Interstate 64 westbound lane closure planned for Oct. 4-6

interstate 64Next week, a contractor with VDOT will perform pavement marking work on Interstate 64 westbound in eastern Albemarle County.

From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, the I-64 westbound left lane will be closed between mile markers 130 and 126.

Traffic backups will be monitored throughout the project and the work zone will be adjusted, as necessary, to ease congestion.

Motorists should keep right and stay alert for workers and equipment near the travel lanes.
