Chris Graham

Virginia Tech is going Orange Bowling again. The Hokies 30-12 victory over Boston College in Saturday’s ACC Championship Game earned them a return invite to the Orange Bowl to face Big East champion Cincinnati, which will be making its first-ever BCS bowl appearance.

Tickets for the game, at $125 a pop, go on sale at noon today. More information at www.hokiesports.com.

Tech ended the ’08 regular season with a 9-4 record that included a 6-3 mark in the ACC. The Hokies were also the 2007 ACC champions and lost in the 2008 Orange Bowl to Kansas by a 24-21 final.

Cincinnati went 11-2 in ’08 and were 6-1 in the Big East. The Bearcats won 10 of their last 11 after falling 52-26 to top-ranked Oklahoma in week two.

The Orange Bowl is set for 8 p.m. on Jan. 1 and will be broadcast on Fox.
