Is hearing loss common? Yes.
Approximately 36 million Americans, 10 percent of the population, experience some form of hearing loss. Hearing loss can occur at all ages and begins to naturally occur after the age of 18.

Should I ignore it? No.
Extensive studies by the National Council on Aging show that untreated hearing loss can negatively impact your job perofrmance, your social life, your relationships with friends and family, and ultimately your physical well-being.

Is there a risk in waiting to do something about my hearing loss? Yes.
The actual process of hearing and understanding occurs in your brain. The longer auditory information is not available, the more difficult it becomes to utilize when it finally is provided.

Will I need a hearing aid? Maybe not.
Every case is differnt. Our qualified hearing care professional will be happy to consult with you regarding your individual needs.

Is hearing loss serious? Yes.
Clinical studies have shown that hearing loss may increae the likelihood of falling and dementia, as well as contribute to other serious health risks.
