Two events on the schedule at Stone Soup Books and Cafe in Downtown Waynesboro will give you reasons to spend Tuesday evening downtown.

An African Hand-Drumming for Beginners class taught by drumming scholar Bruce Penner is being offered free of charge at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.

No experience is needed to participate. Some drums will be available.

At 7 p.m. is a Classics Book Discussion of Emma by Jane Austen. That event is also free.

Emma is available for purchase at Stone Soup.
