Hampton Roads man arrested in Wells Fargo bank robbery in Norfolk on Tuesday

A Norfolk man has been arrested after robbing a Wells Fargo Bank branch on Tuesday afternoon.

Patrick M. McKown, 64, has been charged with robbery, use of a firearm and two counts of petit larceny.

McKown was taken into custody by Norfolk Police at 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday night.

Police responded to the bank, located at 2316 E. Little Creek Road, at 1:10 p.m. for a report of a commercial robbery. When officers arrived, they learned that the bank had been robbed.

McKown is currently being held without bond in the Norfolk City Jail.
