If you have been suffering from acne, you have acne-prone skin and you will need this guide to make sure acne are gone once for all. However, there is no simple remedy that can help you. There are a few steps you will need to use on a regular basis.

Exfoliation basics

Exfoliation is a simple process used by millions to remove the dead skin cells, to eliminate sebum or skin oils and also to remove the dirt and grime from the pores. There are a lot of different methods you can use to get this process done, but all have the same purpose. Exfoliation is important for teenagers but also adults in an equal manner.

  1. Daily exfoliation is a must

Here is the first and therefore the most important tip we can give to you. You need to exfoliate the skin daily using soft methods. This especially refers to avoiding harsh scrubbings and using a detailed brush that can help you get the skin you have always wanted. Make this in your daily routine and the acne will be significantly decreased.

  1. Use deep exfoliators two times per week

You will need exfoliators acne prone skin, especially deep exfoliators in order to make acne a thing from the past. As we have mentioned above, daily exfoliation is a must, but two times per week you also need to use deep exfoliators. They are more powerful than ordinary ones and they can reach the deepest pores in the skin and make sure there is no sebum left inside. Sebum is #1 acne cause and it must be properly eliminated if you want clean skin.

  1. Moisture your skin daily

If you have oily skin you don’t need to moisturize it? Wrong. You still need to provide a lot of hydration to it all the time or better said every single day. This is mandatory in order to make the skin well-hydrated and decrease sebum production. Dry skin will soon start producing more sebum than before so the risk of acne will go up. Moisturized skin will do completely opposite.

  1. Scrub for 3 minutes

3 minutes are ideal for all women of all ages. However, you will still have to limit the scrubbing according to your needs. This is important due to one reason. If you scrub it too long, you will irritate and damage the skin which will be prone to infections and bacteria. Both of them can cause acne, so you must find the optimal duration of scrubbing the skin per day.

The final word

Acne is a nightmare but they are manageable. With these tips, you can finally get the skin look you have been looking for so long and you can enjoy the soft, young and beautiful skin as long as needed.
