600px-I-64The family of Sandra Maglaris has established a GoFundMe account to help the family deal with medical bills and living arrangements as she remains in critical condition at UVA Medical Center.

Maglaris, 49, Lenox, Ga., sustained a serious head injury when she fell out of a 2007 Freightliner truck that was driven by her husband, Roger Maglaris.

The accident occurred on Dec. 15 on the I-64 eastbound on-ramp at the Rosser Avenue exit in Waynesboro. Sandra Maglaris fell out of the passenger side door and was run over and dragged about 15 feet by the vehicle.

Roger Maglaris and other family members have stayed by Sandra’s side at UVA Medical Center.  The GoFundMe page has a goal of $5,000 to be raised for the family.

The Waynesboro Police Department and the Waynesboro Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office is hoping for support from the community to assist Sandra’s family during this incredibly difficult time as she continues to fight for her life.

The GoFundMe page can be accessed here.
