mike london accFormer Virginia football coach Mike London wasn’t out of work too long. Published reports have London, who resigned his post at UVA on Nov. 29, getting hired at Maryland on the staff of new head coach D.J. Durkin.

London, 27-46 in six seasons at Virginia, will serve as defensive line coach and associate head coach on Durkin’s staff.

London will work under another former ACC coach, Scott Shafer, who was hired by Durkin to serve as defensive coordinator. Shafer was fired by Syracuse after going 14-23 in three seasons.
