The Fishburne Military School football team has clinched a 2013 Virginia Independent Schools playoff berth.
The Caissons, 8-0 after their 28-21 win over Hargrave on Friday, will play in the semifinal round the weekend of Nov. 8-9.
FMS is one of four teams to clinch a playoff spot. Virginia Episcopal, North Cross and Fredericksburg Christian have also clinched spots.
Fishburne will know its opponent and where it will play on Sunday afternoon. The Caissons can be either the #1, #2 or #3 seed depending on the outcome of this week’s games involving Virginia Episcopal, North Cross and Fredericksburg Christian.
FMS has a bye this week.
