Fans invited to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series testing on Wednesday

rirEver seen a movie preview that made you want to go see the main feature?  Are you staying in town and wondering what to do during Spring Break?  Richmond International Raceway has just the thing.

Preview some of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series’ biggest names on Wednesday when they take to the track at Richmond International Raceway to prepare for the main feature, the Saturday, April 25 TOYOTA OWNERS 400.

So, who are these NASCAR stars we’re talking about?  Names like Gordon, Stewart, and Keselowski giving you a sample of the action.

  • Jeff Gordon, driver of the No. 24 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet
  • Tony Stewart, driver of the No. 14 Stewart-Haas Racing Chevrolet

Wait, your name isn’t on it?  That’s an easy fix!  Fans are invited to attend testing on Wednesday, April 8th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sit in the grandstands and enjoy a sneak peek of what’s to come in a few short weeks.  To access the grandstands, please enter through the Main Gate on the corner of Laburnum Avenue and Richmond-Henrico Turnpike.  Once in the gate, park near the Virginia is For Lovers Frontstretch Gate and Gate 70, located in Turn 4.   Fans can enter the grandstands through Gate 70 only.

Come out and enjoy some of NASCAR’s best preparing for America’s Premier Short Track.  But brace yourself; this is only a small preview of the action that’s yet to come, as NASCAR returns to Richmond International Raceway April 24 & 25.  And back by popular demand, Track Takeover powered by Nationwide at RIR on Saturday, April 25.   Fans can step out onto the Action Track just hours before the green flag waves for the 2015 TOYOTA OWNERS 400 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series event, all you need is a ticket to the race!  Tickets for Saturday’s race, as well as the 2015 ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Friday are on sale now.  Click here or call 866-455-7223 to purchase.
