The Waynesboro YMCA is presenting a Fall Prevention Workshop on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The two-hour workshop will teach participants new ways of moving based on tai chi principles. These are easy to do, and if practiced regularly, on your own, you can see amazing results.
The program is one of three tai chi programs endorsed by the Centers for Disease Control as being effective in improving balance.
Participants report fewer falls and increased confidence in moving.
The workshop is free for YMCA members, and $10 for non-members.
