Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia names new executive director

Epps is executive medical director of the Bon Secours Neuroscience Institute and chairman of the Department of Neuroscience at Saint Francis Medical Center.

Epps received his bachelor’s degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine. He completed his neurology residency at Georgetown University School of Medicine and the Washington D.C. Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He completed his epilepsy fellowship at the University of Virginia.

Prior to joining Bon Secours Medical Group, Epps had been in private practice for eight years in Richmond and has been vice president of the board of directors of the Epilepsy Foundation of Virginia.
