Election 2024: Sen. Kaine to view DNC nomination of VP Harris in Winchester

Sen. Tim Kaine will watch Vice President Kamala Harris accept the party’s nomination tomorrow for president at Winchester Brew Works in Winchester with the Winchester-Frederick County Democratic Committee.

Kaine is running for re-election to the U.S. Senate in Virginia and has served in public office for 30 years.

Vice President Harris Democratic National Convention Speech Watch Party will be held Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 7 p.m. at 320 N. Cameron St., Winchester.

Harris chose Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz has her running mate.

In 2016, former First Lady and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton chose Kaine has her running mate in her bid for U.S. president. American voters chose Donald Trump.

Election Day is Tuesday, November 5, 2024.
