The Kaine for Virginia campaign launched new radio ads last week to reach a diverse coalition of Virginians.

The ads highlight how Sen. Tim Kaine is delivering for Virginia through lowering costs and bringing good-paying jobs to communities across the Commonwealth. Kaine seeks reelection to the U.S. Senate in November’s election.

“Record” highlights Kaine’s history and record of lowering health care and prescription drug costs for Virginians, along with working to bring good-paying jobs to Virginia and helping Black-owned businesses grow. The ad runs on Black radio stations in the Richmond, Norfolk, Roanoke and Washington, DC areas. Listen to “Record” here.

“Luchando” focuses on Kaine’s work with missionaries in Honduras, which started his public service career, now dedicated to bringing good jobs to Virginia and lowering the cost of prescription drugs. The ad runs on Spanish-language radio stations in the DC, Richmond and Norfolk areas. Listen to “Luchando” here.

“Believe” spotlights how Kaine throughout his time in public service has embraced James 2:18: “I’ll show you my faith by my works.” His work is making life better for all Virginians, no matter where they live or what they believe. Kaine shows up and stands up for Virginians across the Commonwealth. The ad funs on Christian radio stations in the Richmond, Norfolk and DC areas. Listen to “Believe” here.

“From the Richmond City Council to the U.S. Senate, Tim Kaine has a clear record of standing up for hardworking Virginians and is meeting voters where they are to deliver that message,” Keren Charles Dongo, Campaign Manager for Kaine for Virginia, said. “The stakes are high in this election, which is why Virginians deserve a Senator who has a history of lowering the cost of prescription drugs, making sure small businesses thrive, and creating good-paying jobs.”
