Early voting in the 2025 Virginia elections begins a month from today, Friday, Sept. 19, which is Day 1 of our month-and-a-half-long Election Day.

Probably a good time to make sure you’re good with the voter registration people.

“I encourage every eligible Virginian to register to vote or make sure their registration is up to date, double check their polling place, and make a plan to vote,” said Abigail Spanberger, the Democratic Party nominee for governor.

Early-voting offices across the Commonwealth will be open Monday-Friday, with hours varying by locality.

There will be Saturday voting hours across the state on Oct. 25 and Nov. 1 – Nov. 1 is the last day for early voting, ahead of the traditional Nov. 4 Election Day.

Check your local voting hours here.

You can, of course, also vote by mail – despite what the Dear Leader has had to say on the topic, which was based on what Vladimir Putin had to say on the topic.

Fun note: despite Putin supposedly telling Trump that the U.S. is the only country to use mail voting, um, dimwit, we’re one of 34 countries that allows voters to cast ballots by mail.

Seriously, we have a president who doesn’t know more about how we do things than a C student in a seventh-grade civics class.

We’ve gotta change this sh*t up.

“As Virginians continue to face unprecedented challenges — high costs across the board, attacks on our workforce and economy, and last-in-the-nation progress to combat learning loss, Virginians have an opportunity to make a choice. Virginians can choose leaders who will put Virginians — not partisan loyalty — first,” Spanberger said.
