The NFL Films documentary “Tragedy to Triumph,” which tells the story of the 2022 murders of three UVA Football players, is set for a world premiere at the Virginia Film Festival on Sunday, Oct. 25.

The full 75-minute film, a portion of which was screened on ACC Network last month, will be shown at the Paramount Theater on the Downtown Mall in Charlottesville as the festival’s closing night film.

The project was produced by NFL Films in conjunction with BD4 Studios and UVA Athletics.

The film includes exclusive interviews with athletic administrators, student-athletes and the families of the three murder victims – Lavel Davis Jr., Devin Chandler and D’Sean Perry.
